Hehe, fweep.^^ Lots of angles here, and the expression changes in his beak and eyes are all well drawn.

Yeah.
I really don't know how to draw his smile-looking-at-viewer in any angles. For me, it's so hard.

Hmm. Sometimes it's challenging for me to draw my characters' expressions, and I find myself stuck erasing and fixing over and over. Jay's smiles always look good to me, but I understand what it's like to struggle just to get something looking the way you want it to. For character expressions, I rarely get it right the first time. I always think of what it will look like first, and let that guide my pencil; I don't use guidelines or symmetry lines because that restricts my organic approach to drawing.Β

I also hate destroying my paper through erasing and correcting, but if that happens, I just wasted up my paper and start again.Β
Sometimes it's the cause of art block to me.

Hmm. For me, using paper is fine, but I don't like it when a pencil breaks and I have to sharpen it again--that really shortens the life of the pencil.Β
But maybe, if you waste a paper, save it for practice sketches of your character, or for experimenting on new techniques.Β

But not good at drawing his smile looking at viewer in any angle. Still need to improvise it^v^
