Peanut goes in the bathtub because he likes to tip little cups of water over and watch it go down the drain. So we always have cups in there for for him.Don't know how the whole cup thing started, but we've been doing it for our cats for years.
Peanut passed away on Feb 24th.

Yup, he used to sit in the tub and try to meow at us every time we walked in. But since he couldn't meow he just sort of squeaked.

I wish I knew his breed. Just a common American tabby maybe? He was a stray that we found about 10 years ago during a concert. We think he came into town in a car engine because his whiskers were all burned off and his vocal chords are messed up, so he can't meow.

And as it turns out, he is an American tabby! I just looked ''American Tabby'' up, and the pictures that showed up looked just like him!
