Awww...so sad! And very realistic since in the end, Spain was both: he truly did love his children and thought he was doing what was "best" for them (To this day, Spain is very aware of current events in Latin America & the Phillipines and tries to help out when he can especially during the Ibero-American summits held annually) but his methods were brutal, savage and insensitive.
