I think this is much improved...however the second bird still bugs me...I think it's because the second bird has it's legs in a standing position as tho it's about to take flight...Please don't kill me but I would still drop the second bird...the placement of the first bird against the moon is perfection and sometimes less is more.

Asked around and others like the 2nd bird. I guess art is all in the eye of the beholder. Thanks for your input and friendship, but the bird has come home to roost.

Oh, well done, Ivey! The original stock photo was quite grainy, you did a beautiful painting job. Love the composition, glow from the candles, the intense red of the rose standing out against the darker colours. I like the placement of the birds too, the change works well. Beautiful work!
