2) Shut up about all the things that are wrong. I made this before the movie was released, therefore it is based on the book descriptions (a book that describes most, if not all, it's characters as white). There are going to be things wrong with haircolours aswell.
3) I'm well aware that the vampires all look deathly pale, but guess what? They are technically dead. Your precious Robert Pattinson was gaunt, and sickly looking throughout the entire film franchise. Vampire are DEAD. They would have no pigmentation in their skin.
4) I'm not changing something I made in 2008. Get over it.

Jacob - Giving Edward death glares because he's in love with Bella too.

For the record, I made this when I actually liked Twilight. I now find it a piece of revolting crap, and a complete and utter waste of paper, and film.

Should I read this series? I wanna have a fair judgement on each book series. (Refering to HP and Twilight).

Well, I read the series when I was younger and at the time (I am so ashamed to admit this) I really enjoyed them. It wasn't until I gave them a re-read later that I realised what a total idiot I was, and began picking the series apart (critically). As you can probably guess from the discription I'm not a huge fan of the franchise at all anymore, however it has given me insight and I feel like I can pass judgement on the series, that I'm allowed to argue back and say it's God-awful (to put it mildly).
Basically, I'd give it a shot. Don't go into Twilight to compare it to Harry Potter though, they're both completely different series and the only things they have in common is the supernatural/fantasy element and they fact that Robert Pattinson is in both movie franchises.

You think Twilight looks interesting/awesome? I wouldn't get your hopes up too high aha. It's very poorly written with poor characterisations and themes. Anyway, give it a go. You may like it, you may not.
I'm, personally, not a huge fan of Robert. I do find it hilarious that he hates the Twilight franchise and author an awful lot, though.

Thank you for that, I shall take it into consideration. But, I must say, I really am just gonna read Twilight because of Harry Potter, I think it'd be better then reading because I think it looks interesting/awesome.

Of course it is, but you can't compare the two. They're both completely different franchises with completely different morals/stories/meanings/characters/everything. I may not like Twilight, but at least I know it can't be compared to Harry Potter in any way, shape or form.

Were you going by the books though? sorry, I have to be one of those people. XD Jessica had poofy black hair and Laurent was french. I think they made him Jamacian in hte movie because they needed more black people.

I was a delusional 14/15 year old, and I'd really rather forget about those dark days where I enjoyed Twilight.
I think I was? But I changed some crap around? Honestly, I can't remember. I think Laurent had an olive complextion in the books (I'm trying to dig around the vault of my brain where forgotten things exist), or had an olive complextion when he was alive so I did not know what the hell to do with him and just made him that undead pale-white look.
No, I don't think it's racist. I think it's more racist the fact that the author made most (all?) he characters white, because hello not everyone in the world is white. I didn't mind when they cast Laurent as a black male. The franchise needed some more diversity than that though.

I just remember he was french- and in the illustrated guide he was quite pale. I actually liked all the backstories there were for everyone in the guide.
Twilight's in Washington though, is Forks mostly white? It might make sense.
Butanywaythen- As for the vampires the only black ones were from Africa. XD I think. I dunno, maybe it's just that she doesn't describe them enough. Nobody knew if the Colin in the Volturi was a dude or chick until the guide came out.

Actually, Laurent should NOT be darker. If you read the Twilight Saga: The Official Guide it explains that, when one turns into a vampire, venom leeches all pigment from the body. Scars, freckles, birthmarks, and even tattoos will disappear as will all skin pigment. Those who had dark skin in life MAY have an ever so slight darker tint to their skin, but not by much. So Laurent was no supposed to be a black guy with dread locks. He's French and he has shoulder-length, black curly hair and pale skin with a slight olive tint.
So don't listen to those who base their opinions on the movies.

it was stated in the books that even though victoria was in love with him james was never in love with her and used her for a tool because her talent was always finding an escape route
