so I wanted to draw something for pride month to show my support, but for awhile I just kept drawing a blank and as a result I drew nothing. Then I realized whilst playing dragonvale that despite many of them looking either masculine or feminine, none of them are actually given genders and you could breed almost any dragon with any other dragon without worrying about gender, only when they feel like or if they`re elemental. Any dragon could breed and give you dragon babies, which meant that they were either hermaphrodites or non-binary, using magic to make dragon babies. So that made me realize "wait I think I might have something here" and started making this piece.

Here I chose six dragons for different reasons:

the moon and teidian dragon lesbian couple is there because there is a rare dragon that you can get by breeding a moon dragon and any gaslaxy dragon. Since I was making this for Pride month, I decided to use the teidian dragon since it`s one of the only two feminine looking galaxy dragon and I thought the shy easily flustered dragon with the calm, attentive, meditative girlfriend would be adorable

I put the Pharoh, Prism dragon couple there because I'm currently breeding them for a lightmatter dragon and I began shipping them as a result so I put together.

I thought that the Procyon dragon would a good pick for non-binary as I guarantee nobody to tell you what gender it is, and it`s also one of my favorites

If you had played dragonvale you`d know that gem dragons can only breed during certain time`s of the year, and I thought one of them would be almost perfect for asexual pride. Admittedly I didn`t really know who to pick, so I chose the shy topaz dragon as it is one of the cutest dragons in the game. (well I think they are)

(something extra on the side: Yes, my artstlye DID change while making this piece, although if I`m being perfectly honest I don`t think I`m gonna stick with it....)
