work in progress actually, but I rather like it so far
We are to make it into a book cover and will be working on the over all design on monday. I may also put some moths on the cage as well...For my english class, we were to re-do one of the book covers of the books we read, olivia and I chose Maps for lost lovers. We felt the other cover didn't show the massive turmoil in the book that occurs. We focused mostly on the subressed sexuality of the women in the book and there in ability to express themselves... you should read the book and tell me what you think
. it also has to do with a lost and forlorn love.. wanting to be together yet never to be held in each others arms again

This is brilliant ! I love it but it completely describes my relationship with my x boyfriend of over 11yrs... N yes I am the one in cage lol.. Just sad though bc we have been through so much and I got major depression n anxiety problems then diagnosed with lupus and chrons disease... And for the past 3..4....5 yrs, I have on ly been out of the house barley handful of the times and 99percent was to see doctors... So since I was basically 22 I'm 26 , in month 27 yrs old , I have been stuck in a cage, n yes he still is my best friend n I luv him dearly, but he refused to help me n denied all my cries for help bc the sickness was "my illness and problem" and I was ruining his life.. all I asked was for emotional support and to believe In me.. My heart has so many open wounds bc of that relationship.. But. I have a great guy friend more then just a friend a love .. And I'm afraid the same thing will happen bc we live long ways apart. But I kno he is different and true to everything he says I thought I knew truelove but I'm letting my guard down for him bc he is amazing and nothing I ever felt before ..
Sorry for the ranting. All u guys n gals, vie wasted more then 10 yrs of my young life believing and loving someone who treated my like shit!! So I believe ther is def a person for everybody and for so long I deluded myself thinking it was my x bf, pl regonize the signs of someone not truly loving u but has a lot of cheap talk and get out of the relationship !!

This piece speaks to me in so many ways! I love it and it deserves more pageviews. Your description (lovers not being able to be by eachother) makes sense with the photograph, but when I first saw it, I got the impression of imprisonment, being trapped and loneliness. Two completely different messages but they work with it so well! Great job
