i had a C- in my watercolor class spring of 2004... my teacher's parting words to me were 'sam, stay away from paint' one of the funniest things i ever heard. that was back when we thought i would be a digital artist

Well, either you miraculously improved you painting techniques, or your teacher is a little confused by your art. That is pretty funny though, teachers can be SO encouraging at times

well, it think it was really a question of subject matter. i will never be a landscape painter, and i don't think i'd ever want to be. he is my favorite teacher of all time though check out his work!
