When Pinkie Pie says it's music time, you better believe it's music time!

UPDATE 6/12: I derped and forgot that Derpy was a pegasus. As Rarity would say, "How could you!" Her wings have now been added.

Here is my submission for Day 9 of the Equestria Daily blog's Artist Training Ground event, which I submitted under my pseudonym "EssAeEm." The event challenges Equestria Daily [link] readers to get some practice drawing by posting daily themes based around the characters from the surprisingly awesome "My Little Pony Friendship is Magic" TV show. The theme for Day 9 was "Draw TWO ponies making music" so here's a comic featuring Pinkie Pie and Derpy Hooves randomly brightening up Twilight Sparkle's day with musc (in their minds, at least). This is the first time I've completed a drawing of Derpy, and I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out (especially since I had her play the trumpet, which was the instrument I played back in High School Marching Band days.)

I don't know if I'll be able to take part in every day of this event, but I'll try as many as I can because I could always use more practice drawing, so keep an eye out for them in the "My EqD ATG Artwork" folder of my profile for them [link]
