My family seriously has the same type of turtle, it's a lot bigger though. Do you know what kind it is?

Only in german: "RotwangenschildkrΓΆte"

I know that my turtle is a small turtle.

We've had ours', his name is Mikey, for like six years, he's grown a lot. I wish he was a bit smaller because we keep having to get bigger tanks for him! And I do wish I spoke German, unfortunately, as of right now I only know a few words. But learning languages is a hobby of mine and German is the fourth language I want to learn after French, Spanish, and Italian. So I'll have to look up the name on a translator!

The translation is very difficult!
In english: Red Eared Slider ??
The name is very different as in german.
Rot = red
Wangen = means the part under the eyes I don't know the right word in English
SchildkrΓΆte = turtle

Sorry for my bad english, it wasn't my favorite subject at school.

Haha, it's fine! Thanks for at least part of the translation! And you know a lot more English than I do German, so feel good!

Thank you very much.

Please help me.
Can you translate me: Wange? The part of a face between eye, nose and ear?
I didn't find it.

duuuude, 15-20cm is tiny for 25 years..

i have 2 yellow belly sliders which are 12 years-ish, the biggest one is about 30cm!
i also have a red ear slider who's about 6 years old, he's 20cm

i'm not calling you a liar or anything, just saying that's tiny and i wish mine were that small xD they're very veracious creatures: they'll want to eat even when not hungry, they can go forever without food, i feed mine every 4 days now but used to feed them once a day (that's probably how they got so big)

red ear sliders can also grow to about 40-50cm

anyways, awesome turtle!

Yes, my turtle is a small turtle, because he lives in a small aquarium.
A small aquarium = a small turtle.
A big aquarium = a big turtle.

I feed my turtle twice a day.

My turtle is friendly.
