You know, the sad part is, I liked Damien. Sure he came off as kind of an asshole at first, but he tried to lighten up.
Then, in the New 52, he also had a snide sense of humor which I thought was easily summed up in Snyder's Batman 1 where it shows them all heading towards this banquet and it shows Damien wearing a tux just like Bruce, Dick, and Tim...but he's wearing what appears to be Red Converse All-Stars instead of proper shoes.
Sure, he still had issues, but he was a decent character and a decent Robin (much better than Jason Todd...maybe tied with Drake).

i liked him best teamed up with grayson prior to the reboot. loved their interactions in batman incorporated 08, its a shame he met his end at the end of that same issue.

I haven't followed comics since the Ultimate books debuted, but every time I think about getting back in, I see or hear just how...dumb DC is handling shit. Why would I want to know that the fourth Robin dies? I'm not going to buy the fucking comic now. Why would I? Furthermore, what's the point? Death in a comic equals vacation time. Sorry for the rant. Great Robin! Your various designs always give me the balls to try my own designs on such iconic figures. Kudos bro.

news websites broke the story and spoilt it for a lot of people. i hope this death is long lasting, because it should have some big repercussions for the people closest to him, namely bruce, dick and alfred.

Of the whole Batman Inc, I think I've only read one book, and that was Batman & Robin, where it's Drake as Bats and D.Wayne as Robin. Maybe it's just my age, but a lot of the writing felt...B grade. I couldn't convince myself to buy more. The only other recent Bat-book I got was The Court of Owls, which is part of the new 52(I think). I dunno. I had an inkling to get back in, or try to, but now this.

actually considering Damians history, his death may be a bit more long lasting. After all, he was created by Grant Morrison and according to him, he had always planned to end him this way, so it isn't even a case of DC killing him off because he isn't popular, Damian is more popular than ever, but the story requires his death
