Yeah, that's exactly it. You've got him starting out his career as the first Robin, coming into his own as Nightwing, and then taking over the family business as the new Batman.

understood. is this set pre-New 52 then? I quit reading the New 52 after the better part of its first year was over, but iirc, Dick is some kind of detective or something now in it lol

Yep, it's based on the Pre-New 52. In the New 52 however, Dick renounched his Nightwing identity when it became public knowledge, faked his death, and is now working as an undercover agent in an agency known as Spiral. On orders from Batman, he was sent in to infiltrate the agency because their trying to gather the secret identities and weaknesses from super heroes from all over the world in order to take them down from the inside. Or something like that, lol.

gotcha, and yeah I think I heard about that first part. I'm not a fan of the New 52, so I haven't kept up with that part, though I've heard about it from some articles when I was looking stuff up. ty for the clarification though
