wow I'm never doing this again.Atleast, not digitally. I could've made it look...better, but I limited myself to the nasty brush settings that I was already using.
*was originally drawing Demyx but got distracted*
the anatomy sucks. And attempt at a consistent light source failed miserably xD

what's wrong? i like the scales, the horns and postrue. the wings and shading was best done.

Neh, I'm not happy about the front right claw/forelimb (the one underneath) It doesn't have enough muscle, and overall looks too small.

4 days working in it on and off is about as accurate as I can get ^^" certainly alot longer than if I'd got the pencils out.

I just don't have patience for digital so I totally respect that you do. Even with my beloved tablet. I'm just more motivated with sharpie marker in hand.

hehe as much as I love to do things traditionally, it costs so much money for good pens, and paper. The tablet I'm using is actually the schools, I'm just very lucky to be able to borrow it.

That I understand, but even so I still can't master tablet even though that was the whole reason I made the investment. Eventually I resorted to bic pens and sharpies, which is what nearly all of my stuff is done in now.

well...I think that drawing with a tablet is like drawing with your opposite hand- its going to take time to master- I still am x.x . Well, I tried drawing with my opposite hand on the tablet... I'm usually ok at it but all i get is a disorganized scribble D:

I suppose that's a pretty good analogy. My biggest problem is just adjusting to drawing and looking up at the screen. : longs for a cintiq :

I'm actually rather used to it now...looking at the tablet isnt something I do much anymore. my sister, and any other family member whos tried have all seemed confused to look at the screen as opposed to the tablet, you're definitely not the only one. Its a strange concept really...drawing in one place yet looking at it appear in another.

Whoa xD thankyou!! I can tell ya tho, my hand still aches and I say tablet sketching isnt recommended unless you're in the middle of an artblock, are chatting on msn, and are doodling on PS and something half decent actually happens
what couldve taken me a matter of hours took me twice as long digitally xD
oh copics *sigh* so awsome but so much munny. Ive put in all my birthday and all my christmas money into it (the reason ive got almost no chrissy prezzies is casue of the money i got)
and thats about $350 (no spare cash at whatsoever xD) so close but so far to the god pens of the art world. eg- I havent got a job xD
