Description The Battle of Rocroi was a battle between France and the Spanish-Habsburg army on the 19 of may 1643, during the 30 years war. In early 1643, the spanish army crossed the border of france and laid siege to the small town of Rocroi, It was there French troops under Duc de d'Enghien marched to halt the advancing spanish troops.
The battle started with a Spanish advantage as multible cavalry and infantry attacks were repulsed by the spanish forces, However in mid of the battle, the spanish cavalry was chased off by the french and they were able to flank the spanish lines. They now attacked the spaniards habsburgan allies and forced them into retreat, leaving the spanish alone. But dispite several heavy artilerry bombardements and multible chavalry and infantry charges, the spanish troops held their line. It wasn't until the spanish accepted the french terms of surrender as the battle finally ended.

The battle of Rocroi was a signifigant victory for france and would be the beginning of the end for spain as a european superpower

Hello and welcome to Judging Gmod (totally not a rip off from the well known Escapist series Juding by the Cover) where we'll be judging Battle of Rock Roy by the...well...judging it.

Battle of Rock Roy tells the exciting tale of two kingdoms fighting each other. To the left we see the brave men of Greenland, clothed entirely in their fine green outfits, while on the right we see a hord of cavalry men that hail from the Pyjama kingdom, judging by the spotted flag in the background.
The location of the battle could be interpreted as taking place during a misty and foggy autumn day on either one of the kingdoms' official football plains, seeing how well trimmed the grass is.
It also appears to be taking place during the evening, which might explain why the pyjama kingdom's armies have come in the first place. The conflict must have been unleashed due to the fact that Greenland has apparently stolen the teddy bears of the pyjama kingdom's inhabitants.
"We are here to reclaim our teddy bears! You cannot stop us!"
Meanwhile, the Greenlandic army has put up a very efficient battle pose, ready to shove up their pikes where light never shines.
"Get ready, men. They cannot break through and reclaim their teddy bears."
Now, worth to note, is the fact that despite there being several characters in this picture, only two people seem to be quite important. I am of course referring to the two men in the middle from the Greenlandic army. Notice how the tall one in his feathery hat looks down on the smaller pike man. My guess is that these two are father and son, and that the father is currently giving his son advice on how to properly hold his pike.
"I told you, son! You need to hold the damned pike. Not drop it. Look at that guy besides you. This is the tenth time he's dropped his."
"You shut your gob, dad. I can chose to drop my pike if I want to."
I don't think I need to state the obvious, that the guy besides the father and his annoying son is currently picking up the pike he dropped. But what I wonder is what that is up with the guy next to the sloppy pike man. It seems from this angle that the mist has managed to get the grass wet and he is currently slipping on the grass and will soon enough fall and hit himself.
But you all might be wondering who that is the leader of which country? While the king of Greenland seems to be unknown we do know the identity of the king of the Pyjama kingdom, as his name is written on their conveniently placed coat of arms above the armies - King Samuraiknight The Sleepy...signed the year 1600.

This is one heck of a good one. While I can notice some similarities to one certain movie, it is just so historically accurate and just looks like much effort was put into it. Good job.
