Now some of you may think what is he a copy of Raiden? Honestly I would not be surprised if Megatron has or would take new sparks like he did in Beastmachines and turn them into soldiers. Megatron was able to put false memories and personality into sparks regardless of who they were, he could also revive the sparks old self in a new transformer shell, if you ever watched Beastmachines you would know this lol.

Valanora, has read the logs done by dragernight, she learned of his past, and how at first the program he and many others were put through as new sparks designed to speed up the maturity of the sparks and turn them into perfect killing machines on the autobots. Dragernight tho had a flaw in his program, something they could not predict, he saw himself before he took the lives of VR (vertual reality) autobots. He saw the fear in himself, when handed his weapon, that imprinted forever in his memory how he felt before he started to kill.

The VR training allowed him to feel pain, the autobots shooting him, laughing, as they twisted their blades into his body, in his training he was nothing but a sparkling, what seemed like years was a day in reality. He was put into war after war in the VR, till he was the perfect killing machine. He was psychologically trained that autobots did not care, that they would kill him on sight if he did not kill them first. When the sparks were ready they were placed in transformer frames that matched their VR bodies, and put into war on the side of Decepticons. Dragernight killed many autobot soldiers, his cold face was all they could remember before they were struck down, or shot down. No autobot was left alive, till the day he came across a civilian autobot, the fear in the Civilian autobots optics made him realize something. Were they really at all that different, all his life he believed autobots to be nothing more then the enemy, but after seeing this civilian he remembered how he was scared, how he did not want to take his sword but did it to defend himself. Was it right being like the ones who made him the transformer he was today? He dropped his sword and the civilian transformer ran, before he was shot down before Dragernight by another decepticon. He watched as the decepticons laughed at the civilian autobot, it was still alive, and they tortured the autobot to death.

He didn't understand things anymore... Was he really doing the right thing? The autobots did laugh as they shot down his allies... He became un sure of himself and decided to do research behind this war. The things he went through during VR did not match the war, and he soon realized, his life was a lie. But still he was confused, he did not know who to believe, even so he knew he could not change sides, so he continued his actions for the Decepticons. But every time he came across a civilian he would try to help them escape. Soon after he met Valanova, after saving her and being caught by the Decepticons saving Valanova he made his decision to finely leave the war forever, but Valanova did not want him to leave.
