Meet a female fox-like creature. Her name is Nylanthia and she is Akira's official Vareos weapon. Clearly inspired by Assassins's Creed hidden blades

Nylanthia's species is called Seryte. They resemble somewhat a feathered fox. Serytes are native to the Arctic regions of the Northern lands in the Vareos world and common throughout the Arctic tundra biome. They are well adapted to living in cold environments, and are best known for its thick, long feathers that is also used as camouflage or deception . On average, Serytes only live 3–5 years in the wild and their body length ranges from 46 to 68 cm (18 to 27 in), with a generally rounded body shape to minimize the escape of body heat.

Serytes prey on many small creatures such as fish and birds. They also eat carrion, berries, seaweed, and insects. Serytes form monogamous pairs during the breeding season and they stay together to raise their young in complex underground dens. Occasionally, other family members may assist in raising their young. Natural predators of the Serytes are Klearsix (eagle-type creature), Broonnaars (bear-type creature), Xathias (Esserker, wolf-type creature) and Wacreors (Xalph, white tiger-like creature).
