Description
Dairut is a half-ogre that grew up in a village that despised him most of the time. His human mother raised him by herself and he helped her on their homestead until she passed. His incredible strength is what finally swayed people into letting him come into town, along with his generally calm disposition. He hires out to several of the local farmers, doing jobs that no human would be capable of, and defending his town against bandits.

One day, a group of adventurers came through from many different nationalities and he was introduced to 'spices' for the first time. Before that, the most exotic cooking was onion rabbit stew on his birthday. He has since left his village to travel and try foods from different cultures.

Based on the situation from Hazard-Trooper "Alrighty, I need some adventurers to go on a challenging quest through lands of magic and swordsmanship to recover the nine artifacts of old. It'll be a long journey but the rewards shall be great! So... Who are you and what do you do?"
