I don't think I'm the only one disappointed in the quality of Hasbros official Queen Chrysalis toy so a custom was in order!I made two of her so the this extra one is up on my ebay- Proceeds form her sale are going to help fund extra supplies I need to fill my table with fabulous customs for Nightmare Nights -a Bronie convention being held in Dallas TX this November

What are her wings made out of? They're stunning

They are a light weight plastic- I buy large sheets of the stuff then heat it to get the curve. This one has a iridescent coating on them that looks green or blue depending on the light. The other one that will be posted tomorrow has wings coated with fantasy film which gives a different look.

I would really like to know where you get that stuff, I've been looking for something like that for a while. Right now I do a clear plastic sheet combined with a very thin blue fabric that turns out okay, but I like what you're using better. Can you cut it with an exacto knife?

I get mine at this little mom and pop craft/hobby store in town. It doesn't have any labeling like a brand or anything that would make it easier to search for though :/ you can cut it with an exacto but its really hard to get all the way though it- this stuff is tough! I use really sharp scissors on mine XD
