Finally, I'm done with this piece. It's my favorite creation. Period.

When I first thought of making this, I was going to take a picture of my own head, fade it into the background, and draw the arrow and eyes using the pen tool to shape my own skull. I decided against it for the very fact that I'm not too good with the pen tool, even after all these years. So, I just went ahead and modeled it after Aang. Let's face it... he is the epitome if "Badass" when he enters the Avatar state. So, anyway... After I was done drawing, editing, and finalizing the eyes, I had to figure out what I should do with the rest of the space that was left. Earlier in the day, I found some cool screencaps of Aang and Zuko with the Red and Blue dragons, Ran and Shao. I spent a good portion of last night cutting and sharpening the screencaps, which were just too fuzzy and low-quality to use in the first place, but I kept them anyway. Then, about an hour in this afternoon, when I had finished editing those two, Photoshop crashed. BLEGH. So, I tried several other ideas and none of them worked out well. In the end, I just decided to go with this.

So, it was a pain in the ass, but I like it. A lot.
