I kinda made a lil impromptu background story for them bc I got really attached to them, oops?
Anyway, they're in their last yr of high school (except Cherie), and they're magical kids called 'fae' that fight demons called 'wild cards' that roam the school bc of all the negative energy thats like..generated by high school...or something? ? magical girl logic?? its abt overcoming the struggles of puberty and pressure of hs idk??

THEY ALL HAVE MAGICAL CODE NAMES BASED ON FLOWERS TOO. In order:

'Magnolia' Maggie / Maggie Mcdonald
She's the more reserved straight A+ kid smart, but she isn't a snob about it. She tutors several kids in middle school and wants to become a teacher! While her fighting and social skills are lacking a little bit, she's super amazing at strategies on how to fight and is by far the most mature of the team.

'Bluebell' Bonnie / Bonnie Beverly
She's the outgoing, super social butterfly of the group. She has a good understanding of how people work, and wants to go into politics. She can talk her way out of just about anything, but sometimes uses that to her advantage to get out of doing her fae duties. She's all about Dramatics. She has a protective streak over her younger step sister even tho their parents only recently married, and wants to be a good role model and guide to her.

'Lilac' Lewis / Lewis Lamont
He's the only male in the group, but isn't at all put off by that. He was raised very old fashioned, and as such feels protective of the girls, trying to constantly be the fighter of the team. He's a star football player, and was a boxer in middle school, so while he is a good fighter he tends not to be good at team work because he's nervous about the girls even fighting in the first place. He wants to go pro in boxing in college (despite the fact his family wants him to do football..the Drama of it all..)

'Camellia' Cherie / Cherie Cordelia
The youngest of the group, a freshman while the others are all seniors. She's actually Bonnie's younger step-sister. She deeply admires her older sister and wants to impress her, but she's still a newbie and struggling to get use to high school in general, plus the magical girl stuff! She's pretty clumsy but is trying her best. She's also incredibly nervous about all of them being seniors because when they graduate she knows she'll have to either fight alone or find a new team...
