to be honest the species freaks me out a little (not to insult it! its super creative and cute aha) things with one eye/teeth features just..squick me out a lil bit BUT I wanted to give the bday kid what she wanted SO I GOT OVER IT >:"D I also loved the color scheme so ye, super cute <3
I did this at my sisters house w no wifi so i had to use the low res ref I saved on my phone (low res bcos my phone hates quality, not bcos the actual ref was) and I couldnt get exact colors bc of that...so like, I hope theyre close enough?
ALSO I AM TRYING TO GET BACK INTO SPEED PAINTING. SO. heres the speedpaint! >:"3
EDIT: sweet jesus u can see how bad the colors are real bad. I fixed them best I could but u can see how bad they are on the speedpaint :"D

aaa thank you I was rly worried I'd get smth wrong (i MEAN I DID, THE COLORS LMAO) but I hope it looks like..yknow acceptable anyway X"D (if you want me to change the color of the lil spikes I can now that I'm home!! let me know c: ) but noo I totally think you nail drawing them way more than I did! (esp the eyes haha)
I MEAN THE CONCEPT OF THE SPECIES IS SUPER COOL. things with one eye or like..weird faces dip into that kinda uncanny valley for me tho..like species that have super inhuman lookin faces or lack of faces like..freak me out but the fact they all look like cuties somehow with their lil outfits and glitter and stuff...I love that XD

I REALLY LIKE DRAWING THE EYES TBH... 8DD maybe that's why I draw them so much lol It's just so easy because unlike with human faces you only have to worry about getting one thing right xD
so many of these babies definitely fall into the "creepy cute" category xD
