Description Ever imagined a buzzard that's the size of a golden eagle? Well, meet Garganoaetus fraudenthali, which is basically that. This raptor lived in the region of Gargano in Italy back in the Late Miocene/Early Pliocene, when it was an island populated by giant rats, goose, and deer-like ungulates (thank you once again Foster's rule!). Garganoaetus ruled the skies of the island during the day, while Tyto gigantea took the apex predator role during the night, basically these two giant birds of prey created a reign of terror over the other inhabitants of the island 24 hours a day. Enjoy!

PS: yes I'm back at it after months of avoiding it because I hate doing birds and Garganoscontrone has like 3 very relevant birds and I'm in big pain (help)
