No disrespect to the winners, but I can hardly believe this wasn't one of them. I can only imagine that someone was daunted by the idea of modeling and animating it, because it blows me away in every other way. The scope, your capture of the elemental concept, the perspective, the way you accurately used a variance of suggestion and detail to convey focus...
The piece is awe-inspiring. Your execution exhibits a mastery of both your medium and your vision. Bravo.
