How do you get the colours so vibrant?
I've tried different mediums to colour my shrink films but they always seem dull or peel off.
I read on another deviation that you ised coloured pencils, is that what you used here?
Did you varnish them? They look nice and shiney.

hi there,
i painted them with acrylic on the reverse side after they are baked.
acrylic is permanent, vibrant and sticks to anything XD
i varnish them with diamond glaze for the shiny look.

Inspired by your pretty dinks I've been searching my city all over for the stuff ^^ But to make WoW dinks... it's a brilliant idea! I want to make christmas mini gifts for some of my friends like this, I'm a bit worried about the glazing though. If you don't glaze, do the colours fade after a while? And would for instance transparent nail polish be good as glazing?

i'm using acrylic paints to paint on the reverse side after it's baked.
it'll only work for one sided things like magnets and pins...
if you want them double sided, use permanent markers (before you bake them), since they're transparent.

>XDDD Haha yeah because most of them were failuureeee. People like you just breathe awesome on everything and make people like me so jealousss ;A; I guess I have a bad habit of laying on/stepping on/rolling on/smearing my face on the plastic so it looks dirty after I bake it, lmfao. The sharpie lines baked really nice ;A; Except i learned that gold sharpie loses it's shiny after you bake it so you have to use the paint markers. copic marker stays on for the most part but is sticky and gets dirty real easy :c and it doesn't go on nice anyway.
I'm gunna get some of that finish (thanks so much <3 freeeE) and pick up some paints at the store tomorrow

oh, i have failures aplenty... i just don't post them up lol
i find that it helps to take the plastic out the second it totally flattens down. (and hit it with a clean book to fully flatten it when still hot)
if you leave it there a little longer, the surface of the plastic will... i dunno how to explain it.. smear a bit / warp?
also, using aluminium foil is better than brown paper(some sites recommend this) to line the baking tray with.
