The impact of this image is very immediate. The strong lines of the single point perspective that are persistent in this image really draws me in, trying to pull me in to the centre of the composition.
The architecture of the building really lends to your capture as well. I would have preferred one arch complete with both columns as to understand the architecture but the mystery this lack of visual creates is intoxicating as well. The lightness of the photo throughout as well as sun breaking up the floor lines creates a visual lightness to the piece. This forces the gold to be the lines to the centre of the photo.
