I'm happy we're out of that era in many places on earth (in most though it's still comparable to back then) : heavy child labour, no labour unions securing workers rights and lives, riots and burning factories, revolutions that were fought against by the conservatives, traditionalists and reactionaries (in some connection to the catholic church) furiously, ... Much stuff I'm happy not never have lived under and that I'll fight against whenever someone wants to bring back the past.
