Recently I had the wonderful opportunity to take part in a trade with the fantastically amazing ~Zarac . I chose to draw Mephisto, her unicorn stallion, this of course being while he is young, before he has lost his horn. Frig he was so much fun to do-- I absolutely loved colouring and shading him, it was so much fun to just play around to find something that worked with his colouring.I had originally had him stuck out on a grassy plains, but somehow it just didn't fit, so I replaced the plain with a cave that is full of glowing lichen and other fungi-- because no piece of mine would be complete without something glowing. XP
I hope you like this as much as I do ~Zarac ! Again, thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to draw one of your characters, they are all so beautiful and wonderfully created!

That is one heck of an awesome unicorn. Love the dark colours and the anatomy - and what beautiful countershading on his belly.

Ooh mah booy! He do fit in a dark cave.
This is so great! The whole colourscheme for the drawing is kinda dark, a bit insane feeling with the glowing liches, so it fits for him <3 You made him so handsome <3

I have to concur with Feets. This, Paint, is absolutely AMAZING. I saw this on my box and just had to SWOON! This is such a beautiful piece, and I love how gorgeously painted the character is. He looks so strong, and the anatomy is absolutely perfect. I'm drooling over the shading of his shoulder. My god, that's amazing.
I love how he slightly glows in the dark with that lightening belly, you handled that coloration very, very well and portraying it as beautifully as you did. I think the background is awesome as well, it's so blustery and I can actually feel the shill of the storm when looking at it. This is just, simply, marvelous. Just. Wow.

holy carp.
This is just amazing Paint. Amazing. Blue showed this to me a little while ago and I stared at it for about ten minutes, and now I'm back to stare at it more. This is just effing gorgeous. I mean seriously, I want to sit here and do nothing but gush about it.
First off, the anatomy. Your anatomy is always spot on, amazing but somehow this one right here is just.... I don't even, there's something in that beautiful, heavy chest and that graceful curve of the neck, those lines are just killing me. The shape of the horn, that slightly imperfect curve to it that gives it character *Dies*
And the mane, and the tail, fffffffff, the way the tail is parted by that leg, it looks SO natural, and combined with the motion of the mane its just gorgeous. I just want to run my fingers through it.
Words can't touch on the beauty of the coloring and the shading of this. Seriously.
Seriously.
I am in awe over here. Its just beautiful.
