Description
Venus Transit in Itzehoe (Schleswig-Holstein,Germany) um ca.6:00 Uhr.The next transit of Venus will be between 5 and 6 June 2012 , eight years earlier than transit, been the ' June 8 , 2004. The phenomenon will be repeated after a further 105 years, in December 2117.

It was not planned!!
I saw a journal in tv about the event at 6 a clock in the morning.
After I took my camera sat on the nd filter and quickly shot 10 photo's.
At 6:50 was the Venus disappeared .

Hab es heute Morgen im Fernsehen gesehen und sofort an meinen ND 2000 Filter gedacht.
Das Wetter war bei uns perfekt.
1o Bilder gemacht und mit Lightroom und CS5 etwas bearbeitet.

there is no "between" two days... they fit amazingly neatly.. it's either xy'th june oder june, xy'th not both...
sorry I just had to spend about a minute to figure out if I'm looking at the current transit or the old one from 2004... the exif finally gave it away.
The picture is awesome by the way!
Would you mind explaning how you did it?
I bought some welding glass for that, but couldn't test it because it was too cloudy...(you should consider yourself lucky!)
Would you say the other black dots are dust or are those sunspots?

Sie sind ja aus Deutschland,hab ich grad gesehen.
Ich habe es mit einem ND Filter gemacht.Die schwarzen Punkte sind Sonnenflecken!
Das Objektiv ist ein 70-200mm Sigma F2,8.
Hab es aus der Hand fotografiert.
