’There’s a distant universe around me and an ocean in my mind’
Mixed media (watercolor, ink, gouache). SOLD
Size: approx. 15x20 cm (about A5-format)
It’s now finished, just in time for the FTAC art auction this month. I didn’t think I was going to make anything, too much at work and I felt the theme was very difficult for me. But then I started browsing some images at coral reefs and discovered they look at lot like forests and that got my inspiration going. And for once I felt the needed to paint with colors, I usually don’t, plus I think watercolors are so difficult to handle... I also just bought white gouache, which I’ve never used before, but loving it! I used it for the dress and stars. The rest of the white detailing is with white ink, that I usually use.
