Yeah, that's what this piece means to me, and that after years in darkness it will become your only comfort zone. But it's also like a reminder to myself and others, that you are never alone, even though everything might look all dark and scary around you.

Sorry to hear you had to part with your new favorite for the exhibition. I did see photos on Facebook and your the environment compliments your work perfectly. There really is nothing like the original piece, so I can see your hesitation of possibly selling it. It took me a little while to get over my attachment to my paintings as well.
