Description
Foreground: Ponte Di Gravina Di Puglia, Bari, Italy
Background: Ponte Morandi, Genua, Italy
It's unbelivable what masons could achieve with manual skills, without norms and with little experience. And in the last decades, we developed all possible computer programs and we build bridges like the Morandi bridge, which doesn't last the time it should. Of course there were the maintenance problem, but in Europe bridges should be dimensioned to hold at least 80-100 years.
At the end of June, the new Morandi bridge will be functional. Hoping it will hold like the bridge Gravina Di Puglia!
