Description
From Marvel Comics, here comes the second Yellowjacket, Rita Demara. She began as a criminal, joining Baron Helmut Zemo's Masters of Evil team and participated in the siege of Avengers Mansion. It was definitely the Avengers darkest hour, as Earth's mightiest heroes were handed several defeats and their mansion was destroyed. Seriously, if you're never read it, do yourself a favor and go to Amazon and pick up "Avengers: Under Siege"!Rita wasn't anywhere near as bloodthirsty as her compatriots and soon reformed. This picture was inspired by her heel face turn in Solo Avengers #12, when she was going to lay a revenge beat down on the Wasp but the Black Knight caught her eye instead....

They aren't glasses; they are the goggles she wears with the helmet. But girls with glasses can be very cute!

I wouldn't be overly surprised to see "Rita Demara" pop up somewhere in a movie or especially on Agents of SHIELD. However, I fear it's hoping for too much they would make her be (a) Yellowjacket. She was a pretty interesting character and it sucked they casually killed her off when and how they did. I mean, who else could claim to have been a member of the Masters of Evil, the Guardians of the Galaxy and made an honorary Avenger?!?

Looks so awesome!! I thought the goggles were part of the mask; but without the mask and the goggles on she looks a little like the animated Janine Melnitz from "Ghostbusters"! Superb!

Originally there was a hair exposing mask attached to the goggles; the helmet always being a separate, removable piece. Shortly after, the mask part went away and she just wore the goggles and helmet. I thought they'd look too much like glasses without the helmet, but, oh well. I think Rita and Janine look similar because they were both running around at the same time in their separate mediums

The Beetle? Abe Jenkins? I mean, he's cool enough and all, but I don't think he'd fit into this. However, wasn't Songbird his girlfriend? She could be one of the final entrants...
