i wonder what rocko might think of this modern life we have? smart phones, our kind of internet, youtube, hipsters... all that stuff. take all that... give it to rocko but still keep the charm of the old cartoon in it.i miss the old days. oh baby, oh baby, oh baby...

so do i but im happy that it's not getting a reboot like alot of shows are getting. lets hope it stays that way, last thing i want to see is rocko in this "modern" world

"Rocko's modern life" is one of my favforite shows too.
I have many "favorite" episodes in this show, like the one when Rocko goes fishing with Filbert and Heffer, the one when Filbert and Rocko have to go into the TV to find Heffer's brain, and ALL of the "halloween" themed episodes, like the one when Rocko thinks Mrs. Bighead killed Mr. Bighead and also the two episodes when Heffer (kind of) goes to hell, and many others.
Speaking of "Our modern life": There are so many scenarios, how they could make new episodes. We have never seen Rocko using a computer in his house. That alone offers so many possibilities. They could make an episode when he finally gets a own home-computer and has to face all the "typically" problems you can have with it.
And if we are talking about modern technology: They could make an episode with Filbert and Heffer getting one of those drones, and using it to spy at Rocko, until it all takes a turn for the worst when they crash-land the drone in Mr. Bighead's garden XD
A completely different idea would be, that they continue Rocko's life story by going a step forward and showing his "Modern family life" with his wife Sheila and his kids. But they probably will never do that XD
However: I look forward to the planned, new, Rocko movie. I'm curious to see what they will do with this good, old show.
