I do like the supernatural effect Metro has. It is never a grand presence in the games but you always know that it is THERE in some way. Makes me wonder why they retconed The Dark Ones out of Metro Exodus?

Oh man, I SO love that ghost level, I do hope we'll get more of this stuff in Last Light. Infact, there was one book from the Metro series called "Below Hell" which had two chapters with the heroes encountering ghosts in the Metro and the upper world.

If you like metro 2033. I strongly recommend you to try the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series, mainly "Call of pripyat" and "shadow of chernobyl", some of the devs are the same from Metro 2033. Don't try "Clear sky" first and also play it with the "Complete mod" for each game for a better visual and bugs fix.
They have the same atmosphere as metro 2033 but it is more open-world and hardcore.
