ah finally get a chance to draw him again, still working on commissions for those who still have them, i just did this cause it was easier to draw and color and... stuff.

So here, short bio and life story of CrossFire:
back when he was a young colt he enlisted into the Equestrian military hoping to find some direction in his young life, he got through basic training and got excellent scores but due to there being no conflicts or wars he was relegated to Princess celetia's royal guards after he was done with most of his training. he could have stayed as a soldier and just lived his military career just waiting and training for war but instead he was assigned as an undercover agent who would go out into the crowds who would come to see the princess when she would go out and do public appearances. instead of wasting his time and training doing something that he knew there would be no action at all he disappeared one day and never returned.

He left his duties, he left canterlot, left equestria and found himself exploring the world, taking up the life of a Soldier of Fortune. he was the son of a small time gunsmith and had an affinity for weapons and was interested in the new hardware he discovered on his travels. Equestria's weapons were basic and crude in comparison to the new hardware he found but they were not made to be handled by hooves. which led to his knowledge on how to customize weapons for those of his kind and used that to customize his weapons for use in his mercenary work. he spent a good 5 years of his life (he's somewhere around 29 by now) working for certain individuals which will remain unamed, taking up jobs that ranged from arms dealing, gun running, high-risk operations that blew up stuff or shot up peol... others!, protecting valuable assets (resources, personnel, equipment), smuggling and at times assassination. all the while increasing his engineering knowledge of weapons and other highly specialized equipment even acquiring some scientific knowledge from a job that involved a scientist who had a bounty on his head for stealing some advanced technology, details will be disclosed soon.

After 5 years of being a mercenary he was old enough to know it was time to stop, he made a massive amount of cash and even had several gold bricks and rough diamonds he got from certain jobs that he was ready to get out of the mercenary business for good. two reasons prompted him to leave, one was that the jobs were getting way too high risk even for him, and he's survived a good hard 5 years to know that it was time to stop before something happened that would actually get him killed (has had some near misses and some injuries but nothing damningly serious though like missing limbs) second, the region he was in was getting way too hot and almost on the brink of total war so it was really a good thing to get out. he was trained for war but knew that if he wanted to live he had to get out of there, and so he did. after one last high pay job he took his money and left. smuggled himself out the region and never looked back. after he got out he decided it was also high time to start a new better life, he's seen too much violence, too much killing and even done some pretty horrible things but now it was time to start anew, he decided to go home.

he set out for equestria not knowing whats happened to her, how much it has changed and if his 5 years was gonna come back to haunt him another day. all that didnt matter cause he was going back home and hopefully all the knowledge and experience he got would be useful for somepony like him.

the rest of his story will be shown after a few more pics of him, for now thats his years as a mercenary/Soldier of fortune. so Crossfire, with a custom AK-ish assault rifle back when he was being a colt for hire. enjoy!
