Oh nice, I usually work with watercolor instead of gouache. Do you personally think there is a significant difference between them? I am still trying to try out new medium and am considering gouache paint. :3 Thanks for the answer!

Gouache is opaque, so you can work to the dark to the white. It's interesting to work with colored papers, and you can correct your painting if you have to add more luminosity. As you know, you can't do that with watercolor
But if you want you can dilute a lot the gouache to have a watercolor effect !
I really like to work with both of them, it's just different !

Aww thanks for the explanation, yeah that definitely cleared somethings up for me. So gouache is like a mix between acrylics and watercolor XD? That's cool.

Yes, but it's more smooth and pleasurable to paint with it. I don't really like acrylic because it's not creamy !
