Description Here it is folks, the first page of my comic. *gets out of way of mass stampede to see*

This first page here is actually more a prologue, meant to open the same way a lot of episodes do: with DJ Dive narrating (thus the white-on-black script; everyone else speaks in black-on-white text). Picks up directly after the final scene in the series, in which everyone is running to get the food/medical supplies to deliver to the half-destroyed city.

Of course, even on a first page, I couldn't resist a little fun. Apparently, the smell of old ladies makes Fizz faint. And Burn's like, "The box is for you. The delivery girl isn't."

Nobody but the DJ talks this first page because...well, it's meant to be a little detatched. Next one is more up-close and introspective, promise.

Of course, you probably won't SEE the next page for like a month...

Yeah. All the city's colors there are directly stolen from screenshots. And seriously don't expect my buildings to get too much more detailed than that; buildings and vehicles give me a headache (which is why taking on a futuristic sci-fi show is a suicide mission ).

Mind the anatomy errors here and there; those I do promise will improve, if only because I'll be practicing drawing so much.

Yes, I know the hoverway is transparent. But I'm a lazy artist, so I'm going to pretend for the sake of my poor fingers that it's solid. Unless I catch a wild hare and decide to draw it transparent a few times...we'll see.

Yes, first page prologue, second page to follow. Enjoy.

Sweet!!! I can't believe I did my homework first then go to the internet.

Well, the destruction of any city does cause an effect on young children. Fizz was one of the few. The old lady knew that. Though the last part had me thinking she's thinking all this out.

You just gotta love that baby! When he grows up, he wants a puppet just like Dr. Pinch. One that insults him and share a common interest: ... I'll get back to you when I find one. But since he didn't wanted the stress of making one... or the waiting, he grabbed the one of his dreams.

One month of wait. That ain't nothing. Time flew when I was at school... it can fly in a month. Well, it works on school, I don't think it does with the internet.

LOL, I was thinking the old woman was more like, "SOMEONE REMEMBERED THE OLD FOLKS!!!" *hug* and Fizz was just embarrassed that she'd gotten dizzy like that. LOL, whichever.

Yeah, we have to remember the old folks (since the only old folks we've seen are Ol' Skool, Rodney, Bedlam (how old is he anyway?) and some few which I forgot). We can't forget the old folks!

How can she be embarrassed? Hasn't she hugged an old person... or her grandparents for that matter. After all, there were *starts counting* ten people there. Only two were looking at her.

Hugging an old person isn't embarrassing. Nearly fainting from the old person smell, that's embarrassing.

True, true that. If you hold your breath before you hug, it won't smell that much.

Photoshop's a great program.

Photoshop's a great program, huh? I've been looking for the Adobe Photoshop CS2 (not the newest version, but the least exprensive and the one that goes with my photo and drawing needs), but all that I've heard is that it's either too expensive or it has bugs. From your point of view, what do you think of it?

I use CS1, and I think it's great. It takes some getting used to (so...many...buttons!), but once you know your favorite tools it gets easier (lasso, polygon lasso, magic wand, brush, paint bucket, gradient, text, and for speech bubbles, the shape tools are mine).

Thanks! I'm getting convince to buy Photoshop. My other choice is CorelDraw X3, they say it's easier, but I'm not convince with this one. Photoshop on the other hand, has the things I need.

I dunno about CorelDraw being easier...I tried the demo version once, and it's sure not Photoshop. It feels...well, kinda like working with real paint, and kinda like something else I can't describe. Of course, I've taken college classes in Photoshop, so I know the program pretty well, and the only work with CorelDraw or a similar program was with a free sample that came with my WACOM tablet (tablets are almost essential to good digital work; I've seen a couple artists who can do wonders with a mouse, but they're very rare. Good tablet artists are much more common). I might be slightly biased toward the Photoshop.

After searching every electronic store close to home that has a Photoshop, I didn't get it! A guy in CompUSA (we needed one here) said that I should buy WACOM tablet that had three systems I could use (at least it has Photoshop... Elements 3.0). The system's nice and affordable, I could finally make an avatar... then I couldn't post it as my avatar.

What a great start, Sandy!

All that detail must've killed your hands.

Be sure to pace yourself.

Best part? Dr. Pinch being attacked by the baby. And Loogie's expression!

that's a good prologue to start the pages. I can't wait till the rest of the pages for OUR STORY CONTINUES WITH DISNEY OR WITH OUT, well in this case it would be without.lol
the good thing about the comic is we get to see some other people's faces. I started laughing when you started describing what was going on with fizz and old people.. Well keep up the good work and I will be waiting.

LOL, now watch: Disney will decide to come up with a season 2 just to render my comic totally out-of-continuity.

I know, I could just see it. Disney comes over to you. What do you think your doing Sandy87! In attempt to destroy you and all your hopes and dreams we will continue with the show...and then laugh...really hard.lol

LOL, yup. This is the Fan's Raindance: comparable to the Middle Class American's Rain Dance of washing the car, a fan can cause a series to be continued by making fanwork that gets too popular.
