I understand that. I gues that they didn't hook her with anyone in the end cause an anime character CAN'T JUST HAVE A NORMAL LIFE! Take her and Kamina- prime example of an anime love: idealistic, eternal and unadulterated- maybe they didn't want to cheapen it? The other issue just didn't have enough support in the story to make it acceptable for me, it felt as if Yoko was used on the spot to push Kittans importance as a character for eps 24-25. Well, all the shows do that but in this case it was just to obvious. And I realy didn't like that the catalyst to play that were Yoko's boobs exclusively EXTREMLY oversized for those two episodes (and the suit itself) :/ Did you notice how smaller they got in eps 26-27?
Maybe it will be different in the manga? Some remote part of me is dreaded of the possibility because of Kamina

no i totally get it. i can see your point too. about the boob thing i get that too, her boob size is CONSTANTLY changing in the series, along with her hair length. I see that they did emphasize her boob size for kittan >_> but there also has been interest being shown on kittan's side. like that beach episode, he also did mention her boobs there too. i mean as much i hate replacing kamina too, if you see it in any normal relationship with a real person, if someone you care or are in love with, there will be a point in your life where you want to move on, and i felt that when kittan kissed her it just felt like for yoko that was her chance to move on. which is why at first the kiss wasn't really mutual, but she gave him a hug at the end. i still think that she'll always have a place in her heart for kamina, just like how anyone else will if their loved one got killed.

I like to imagine her and Kittan having that life together, if he had only lived. And while she would have fallen in love with a new man in her life, Yoko would still never forget Kamina as her first love. That would be my ending. She would always love Kamina as a part of herself, but also be able to move on and love Kittan as a new lover.
