Description (Xen is in his room, alone again)

(starts camera)

Xen: Well then, looks like I’m back to talking to myself again. I’m too lazy and tired to turn on the light.

(yawns)

Xen: Bit tired, but it has been great.

Xen: Been with these guys for more than eight months now, and I gotta say, it’s been fine. I got to interact and know more... others than I would’ve done, so that’s good.

Xen: If I were to describe the whole experience in one sentence, I guess “It’s tiring, but fun” would do.

Xen: But seriously though, I gotta say thank you to Notebook and Encrypted for following my plan to cut down the grass, even though it might’ve been a kinda stupid idea.

Xen: Thanks to Pip for actually willing to play that carnival game with me, it was actually fun! And, thanks to Jim and Theodore for going with me in that mechanized planet or something like that.

Xen: And, that was a great surprise back at the ship, courtesy to Notebook and Solar! Hope Core’s doing well though.

Xen: But let’s get down to business. I’m filming this just to answer one question. That is,

Xen: Was it worth it?

Xen: I had to leave the bunch behind, which I haven’t contacted with over 6 months, but I got to make some new friends.

Xen: I had to go to space for this camp, which was kinda a new and cool experience, but things haven’t been all fine and dandy with everything.

Xen: I mean, we got the chance to visit an abandoned carnival (which thank god there weren’t any Hypnotoids around to do anything), a savanna (which was very grassy), a weird planet with chest monsters or something like that, a snowy biome (which I know now why it was dark), and a mechanized planet.

Xen: And we got to beat up a good old test dummy. Which was great!

Xen: I also got some treasures, like this grenade launcher! (takes it out) It’s still in pretty pristine condition, even after I used it to grenade jump onto a mountain. Guess it’s tougher than a tough nut, eh?

Xen: Yen will probably really want this for her collection though, she’s got a lot of Demo costumes that could use a grenade launcher. She couldn’t find one for a reasonable price, so I guess I could probably give this to her as a present.

Xen: Not a Christmas present though, I ain’t gonna arrive back until long after that.

Xen: Following back on what I said, wait, what did I say? Oh yeah. I hope Core’s fine.

Xen: I mean, Theodore did bring her into a normal state, but she managed to burn Pip in close contact.

Xen: Doesn’t seem like she’s doing fine. I mean, my computer immediately shuts off if it reaches 80 degrees Celsius, but I don’t know how Core works.

Xen: It may be just a simple case of the flu, maybe a virus? Normally, you’d get the cold if you stay out in a place like Inverted Iceland for more than 24 hours.

Xen: But then again, she’s a cyborg. She ain’t a being that’s prone to old, reliable bacteria.

Xen: Maybe there was some sort of haze round that mechanized planet that she sent us to, and it made her all jittery like that.

Xen: But then again, maybe Theodore accidentally attached two wires in the wrong place; he’s a hardware expert, sure, but everyone makes mistakes.

Xen: I guess we’ll have to wait until Solar gives us any news.

Xen: What else, well, I did have a slight mental breakdown ‘round “Ice Planet”. I never prepare anything well, and that’s ok. Improvising is an important skill that everyone should learn.

Xen: Making due with what you’ve got is really vital when you’ve got nothing intended to the job. It’s all about making things work, even if they shouldn’t. That’s also how Rube Goldberg machines are made, so that’s cool.

Xen: Like for example, if I had money, or some kind of flammable material, I could use that to build a fire.

Xen: I have to say though, that wasn’t my proudest moment. I panicked. Which was a stupid thing to do.

Xen: Sometimes you only get stuff when you think about them later. You gain new experiences, new thoughts, new ways, and you’ll have a better mind for thinking once you actually sit down and talk.

Xen: But let bygones be bygones. It’s all in the past now, and that was how I acted.

Xen: Now, let me talk about how the carnival was!

Xen: It was cool, though it was abandoned, it did have its share of nice things. (specifically not needing to line up for any of the rides)

Xen: Oh yeah, I guess I grabbed the wrong ball for the job. In my defense, it was right next to the booth, in a cup! How was I supposed to know that was the wrong one?

Xen: All carnivals games are basically scams anyway, since there was no one there, we didn’t have to pay.

Xen: Pro tip here, if you go to any kind of arcade or amusement park or anything with these types of games, don’t play them. Go on the big rides, they’re more worth your time.

Xen: Unless you don’t like rides, but then why are you even there in the first place?

Xen: I mean, I don’t like rides, but try and make your time there as great as possible.

Xen: Now onto the wild planet, the one that had a lot of gems. Didn’t really remember a lot about that one, since it was so short and a bit dull.

Xen: Oh, and also the place we arrived last before we came back, I really don’t get that place.

Xen: Before Core exploded, she teleported everyone there, which I don’t get at all.

Xen: Was that a place that she knew well or some place that she just accidentally sent us? I won’t know.

Xen: I’ll try and find my answers, though I’ll try and keep away from that overclocked engine for now.

Xen: Now what? Oh yeah, I haven’t answered my question.

Xen: Was it worth it?

Xen: And unsurprisingly, it’s a yes! It’s been a great time with all of these guys, and I wouldn’t’ve made friends if I never joined.

Xen: To be honest, most of my time back was either spent at home or at work. Although I did have some friends at work, I never contacted them or invited them back to my place.

Xen: With the others of the bunch, they have some friends that they talk with, especially Computer Fan, who basically her friends at the gym every other day.

Xen: I mean, we live together, and we’re pretty close to each other, but we have our own lives. We aren’t related, we’re just a group of four renting a house together! Sure, that might’ve made us closer, and made me able to work with Yen with some projects, but I never said that we all had the same interests.

Xen: I’m outwardly social at work, but I often just shut myself out of most stuff at home. It’s a bad habit, and Yen’s always pushing me to go outside and see the world, so here I am.

Xen: I’m the X you never needed, but wanted. I always have some amount of social anxiety at all times, but I get out my thoughts no matter if it’s awkward.

Xen: Look, I’m not a famous guy. I’m just a regular, old X that came here to have a good time. And I did.

Xen: It wasn’t all fine and dandy, but it was all worth it.

Xen: Oh, and a special message to Core:

Xen: Thank you for letting us be on this spaceship. I know setting up anything is just a pain in the ass on its own, so my respects to you.

Xen: You’ve overworked yourself. Take a break if you need to. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the fireworks.

Xen: With everything you do, you either love it, or ya loathe it. So make your time here worth it. It’s not gonna last long, but cherish these times and do the best you can to have fun.

Xen: That’s it. That’s all I have to say. I hope this whole thing isn’t too long. I’ll check the recording later to see how long this thing is, but I wanna just rest now.

Xen: Good night.
