This is a preview of my Steampunk Harley Quinn photoshoot n.nIt's been waaaay too long since I last took pics of one of my costumes, I've finished a few since my AC Harley costume, but just haven't got around to taking pics yet. This project had been started in the summer right after my holiday, but since I'm a first class procrastinator, this got kicked back until winter, which led to a VERY chilly photoshoot. Luckily the shoot was awesome, I had loads of fun because what makes this cosplay so special is that I got to use it with an awesome friend, who I've been wanting to cosplay with since forever cause she's the most amazing cosplayer ever! MY boyfriend jumped in on the costuming too, but sadly I forgot to take his coat with me so he chose not to be in the pictures u.u We'll have another shoot soon, maybe with more characters in the team n.n

Ebay actually, it was a long curly wig with 2 long curly ponytails, then i straightened everything and parted the wig in half and both the wig and clip ons had lots of volume in hair so it just looked like that :3

every time i try to do harley i end up looking more like the joker. this is 2 fold one im not blonde(LOL) and 2 dont have the right body for harley.
add to the fact im a total burlesque nut. and again about body it looks wrong on me.
hence jealous of someone that can not only pull it off but pull it off very very well
add in the almost stream punk hat and googles(another thing i love) and i might as well be called kermit im that green

Haha well, first off, i dont think there's a special bodytype for the burlesque style since with a corset, if you're bigger the better because you'll have more to show lol. Second, i love steampunk too, and i think you could pull off that side very well too considering you live in the uk, the birthplace of steampunk! And third, just do it already and have fun!

thanks for the kind words. have to sweet talk my partner into it. shes a wizz with a sewing machine and make up. but not as big a fan of harley (yet but she's getting there after watching some 90's batman cartoons)
