I'd like to just note that Nero has a full body clip for 2 reasons, 1. He is doing the 1 Day Even and compared to the other events is doing a lot more work then the others, and 2. Nero as you can see gets really worked up, even though he is exercised the same amount as our other show horses he gets really nervous and not only sweats a lot but also tends to bolt a lot Poor Nero, he's a little flighty haha

So I've honestly been doing a ton of experimenting with techniques and stuff, I love how the knitted green sweater turned out.

Story:
Nero shied at the wall... for the 10th time. Tiffani quickly gathered her reins and spun the thoroughbred in a tight circle. Today was going to be one heck of a long day. She had wondered why Justin was so upset when the list Erica had left him of horses to bring to this show had included Nero. Now she knew why, the horse was extremely sweet and lovely to work with... until he got scared. Which was often...
"Wooaah there boy" she cooed as the horse calmed down and returned to a regular trot. Nero sighed and tried to relax.
"Cross Country starts soon, is he ready?" Jenn said as her daughter passed by.
"Ready as I think he's going to get." Tiffani admitted as she reined Nero in. She followed her mother out of the warm up ring and into the waiting area.
"Remember, try to keep him focused and not looking at things to spook at. Don't let his focus wander" Jenn said, giving her last few words of advice. Tiffani nodded and nudged Nero forwards, the stallion eagerly responding.

After the announcer gave her name to the crowd the pair picked up a steady canter. Nero felt good as the pair sped past a few jumps, the stallion not freaking out at the natural looking cross country jumps. Tiffani smiled the stallion has never felt this - Suddenly the horse reared up, catching Tiffani off guard. She barely had time to grab hold of his neck as the stallion reared up again.

From the audience Justin stood watching as the 18 year old struggled with the stallion. He was torn, on one hand he was scared however a lesser part of him felt relived. Thank goodness he wasn't the one on him...

The day progressed and poor Nero was feeling sorry for himself. He didn't mean to rear, he didn't mean to scare the pretty girl who rode him. She didn't deserve it. With a cooler on he sulked in the corner, he heard the stall door open but he didn't look up.
"Aww boy, its okay. I know you can't help it" the girl said, this made him feel better.. a little. The stallion walked over to her and put his head on her shoulder, another apology.
"Alright, lets get you ready for Dressage."

The black horse followed obediently desperately not wanting to disobey his rider, again.

Tiffani sat exhausted on the tack trunk outside of Nero's stall. The pair had managed to keep it together for dressage and the horse seemed really sorry for the disaster that was cross country. This show had been exhausting, between Nero and Maerad tomorrow the girl had her fair share of showing for a little while.
"Alright, last event of the day." She said as the teen picked herself up led Nero once again back to ring where the final event, showjumping was to take place.
"Lets go out with a bang"

Alright, I don't think I'll be able to make another entry for the show, but hey. If I can throw something together quick by the end of closing that'd be great. I'm taking a break, I'm tired. Yes...
