I'm not really feeling the smudging. It's a hard thing to seamlessly execute this concept (which I love). I think it needed a bit more attention.. Check out my attempt at similar idea: Faded Costume Wearing Thin
Cheers

It's a good idea... But I'm not sure if it's right. The zip seems very separate from the figure's back. Of course if that was your intention you can shoot me down, but I think the two layers seem very distinguishable. (The man seems slightly more blurred than the zip..?) Great idea though, keep working on it.

'Tis a good concept, but the zipper looks out of place - everything else is blurry, but the zipper is very in focus - I'm not sure if that was the intent to draw your attention to it, however if that is the case, then you got that done well enough... though it still looks a dink out of place.

Yeah, several people have pointed that out...I'll try to work on that if I get the time. Thanks for the input.

the zipper isn't perfect, but perfection should never be expected, over all I like it. Reminds me of a tattoo idea I had, except the zipper open, and on my/someone's fore-arm, starting right below the wrist and ending about an inch before the elbow.
