I like the reason you have given us for a dried up rose in this picture. It is nice to see the other side of the flower once in a while.

I can't say I'm fond of the noise overly much.. and part of me feels that the quality is a bit low with the way there doesn't appear to be too much contrast here. I feel that a little bit more wouldn't hurt, but that could just be me... I am conscious of the white corner, which is a bit distracting, but I feel that you could solve it by adding a vignette and making the contrast deeper as well.
Other than that, it's not too bad... I feel that... if you were going to chop a bit of the top, you could have chopped more, as the framing/positioning of the camera is a bit out of balance there.
Not bad, anyway. o.O
