Please don't use this for anything without my permission. "Anything" means anything that is generally frowned upon in society. Such as thievery.Have YOU seen Pitch Black?? If the answer is no, I demand that you go and watch it right now. This is one of the alien creatures (which, strangely, are less common around the interwebs than I suspected) called Bioraptors/Demons.

The sculpture has some anatomical discrepancies with the things from the movie...but I used it for a reference angle. I also used a YouTube video for it.
I'M SORRY FOR THE MAJOR SUCKINESS OF THE GOD-FORSAKEN RIGHT FOOT. I AM A FAIL AT FORESHORTENING.
Other than that, I quite like the shading, the teeth, and the left leg.

Definitely fun. As a writer, I found the character of Riddick fascinating.. I'd love to make a story with a similar character in it... though... it's hard to make someone without classical morals a "good" character in stereotypically formatted stories.

Pretty nice, and yeah foreshortening is a bitch at the best of times! Even professionals get it wrong half the time, I get it wrong about 90% of the time haha.

There's an artist named Glen Fabry who in every other respect is amazing (he does comic book covers, did all of 'Preacher'), but even he messed up royally with foreshortening on one of his covers. Made Cassidy (a character in the comic) look like he had midget arms and an enormous head.
