AWESOME! I got the idea while googling images of the TARDIS. A bunch of people out there have done this. My favorite led to a guy's theater room. It was the first thing I did when we moved into the house a year ago. Alas, mine is painted on the INSIDE of my nerd cave. The wife wouldn't let me paint it in the hallway.
