fandom: LabyrinthI found a piece of blue paper with scribbled on Sarah (her head only) and immediately had this idea.
Hard to explain. I asume she is sleepless and went to sort something in her head (heart) out in the night.
Lake is the best place to "drown" many things. I am not sure what the garment in her hand is (some vague imaginary is floating around, but nothing concrete).
If you look well, you should see Jareth behind her. There is a little symbolic playing around. It could be he is present, it could be he is present only as a fading memory in SarahΒ΄s heart - you can choose. Eather way the ring on JarethΒ΄s chest presents a heart. (The forgotten ring in the movie
I have some romantic connection to it

Perhaps she is saying farewell to a memory, and Jareth as a memory says farewell to her.
