Commission for my friend Hitsuji from LJ (and IRL)She requested Rue from Princess Tutu in untraditional dress.
This was nice to work on, since I could dive in back to the times when I designed dresses in middle school. It was nice
If the background reminds you on marble its good.

If only they gave a better name to the anime, it's so good but people think about Card Chaptor Sakura or Sailor Moon when they hear the name!

I like she turned happy in the end, and I wanted to make my commissioner happy, so I drew her happy too. Sort of like a pleasant model presenting you a dress

I really like the pearls, and the slits in her gloves. All in all the vest is really nice....makes me want to try it on someone.

D: gah! to fakt??? No ja som isla podla Rue, ze co by sa jej hodilo. farby a tak. Inak tie koralky - neviem ci su modre perly ale mal to byt symbol - obycajne sa v krestanskych obrazoch pouziva ako symbol hriechu - mne prisla rue v seriali akoby pod tazkym kamenom si vliekla nejaky hriech a tak. Neviem dava to zmysel?
