You had hinted before that your depression and anxiety came from a troubled past, but I had no idea.
I can only imagine that it was hard to post this, but thanks for sharing.
Surely, sharing is one way of coming to terms with the past and that's a step in the right direction.
As I understand, most people who grew up in abusive households/relationships eventually manage to move on and lead happy lives (if this wasn't the case, then the number of miserable families would just keep rising exponetially).

this is true, and while it isn't easy to move on, it isn't impossible... I'm trying. It will take some time. but it's thanks to the kindness people can offer that makes one hold onto the hope that one day, everything will be alright.

sadly, many people - particularly children - are exposed to such an environment all over the world. I personally just wish for all children and families can find their peace one day, as I am searching for. I will work hard to become a stronger person! thank you
