IX - High Maintenance
For some, grooming is something one doesn’t think about. For others it’s a constant struggle to keep a luxurious mane soft and sleek. Some can’t stand getting wet, which makes bathtime an absolute nightmare.
° Draw or write about your Kukuri getting groomed (be it bathing, brushing, anything that has to do with getting clean and pretty again!)

Pepper and Cayenne were getting very dirty and muddy and so Alex decided to have a little tidying up session by the park fountain. Pepper maybe wasn't the most obedient kuku in the world but Alex was comfortable enough with the feisty mini dove to try and brush the dirt off. Cayenne on the other hand, not so much. Instead of trying to risk losing fingers Alex tried to have him soak in the water while Pepper was getting brushed - but not being really used to human handling he was very concerned about the dove's treatment, that's for sure.
Also Lafayette had a tantrum about his sleek mane getting tangled and dusty, refusing to keep moving before the smoothness was brought back through some heavy combing. #firstworldproblems
