Hopefully I submitted this OK.This is an active brush of assorted Autumn Leaves made in the GIMP program.
I hand painted 17 leaves in watercolor. In gimp I added a drop shadow and rotated each leaf 3 times. That's about 51 layers for this one brush. I think I went way overboard but I wanted it to look as random as possible to really make it look like fall leaves.
It's my first attempt at an active brush... I'm pretty happy about it.
To use as an active brush move it to the brush folder and make sure it's saved as a .gih
I'm not sure if it will set it automatically but make sure the "Number of cells" are set at 51 and ranks also set at 51 random

Is there a way to make this into a Photoshop cs3 brush? I'd love it.

I wish I knew... sorry. I am sure there is a way but it may be a tedious notion of saving the brush file as a known photoshop layer file, then converting that over to photoshops active brush file.

Can you give me so help??? ^^ Actually when I open the GIMP file with the leaves they where all mixed together.
I think the leaves are really pretty even thought I couldn't use it...

I wish I knew Falling Pixie ; ; Really sorry. Photoshop was always too expensive for me, so I dove head first into the Free GIMP. I know so little about photoshop.
I am sure there are ways to, but off the bat I can only guess to download GIMP and re-save the GIH file as another file that photoshop likes.

Thought I'd let you know I used your brush here . I scaled the brush up and overlaid it onto a dark background. Thanks again for the beautiful brush, it was just what I was looking for!
